Had to replace the heater core today, I don't think it's all that bad of a job, especially when you have a whole other heater box ready to go in, instead of having to take one apart, new core in, yadda yadda...
Anyway, there's a little yellow vacuum line coming from the plug on the back of the HVAC controller....Could someone tell me where this goes?
Guess I wasn't quite watching in my haste to get it out and back in again to remember where it came from.
Wasn't too bad of a job, but after 3 times of having the dash out, all the little piece of tape that hold the wiring to the plastic retainers is now falling apart, and wires are starting to get spread out a bit.
Think I may tape some of em up a bit, and tape them where they were fastened to on the dash supports, and whatnot.

That's the line that I can't fgiure out where it goes...
I really need to get an EVTM....

Start the car (I assume it's running?).
Put the control lever in each position for a couple of seconds.
See which one makes the yellow vac line go sssssssssssssssssss.
Find the corresponding vacuum actuator and plug it in.
Or, wait for someone with a flashlight to go out and check theirs.

Yeah, I figured in a bit, when it warmed up outside I'd go check it out some more.
Got some wires to tape up and out of the way anyhow...

right on the backside of the box, right in the middle, above the tunnel, dang near couldn't see it until I pulled the dash out again..
I wanted to pull the dash out again anyway to tape up those wires, and sort of "organize" 'em...
Made the re-install a heck of a lot easier, too.
EDIT: in the exploded view diagram above, it's the vacuum actuator number 18A318...

Cool thank you. After an hour of searching the board I also found this. Between the both pictures I think I can figure out if I have a vacuum leak inside the car past the firewall.
Edit Post: Does this diagram mean I should delete the line going from the manifold to fuel pressure regulator? They have it red in the diagram and I don't know why. #nocontext

NOOOOO don't do that. It's red because the original line from the manifold to the fuel pressure regulator was red plastic. Replace it with regular vacuum tubing.
