Title: 3G, but what amperage?
Post by: Beau on February 21, 2006, 06:41:20 PM
I just pulled an alternator out of a junk Taurus I have in my "collection", and was wondering if anybody here knew if the numbers on the back could be deciphered to say what amperage it produced.
It definitely is a 3G, and it came out of a '94 Taurus with the 3.8

It had a "10" on the back side of the case, below and to the left of the
regulator, and on the regulator: 4ZU-10316-AA

Now, to find those directions to hook it up.
