The inaugural Breakfast Meet for The Lincoln Mark VII Club was held today in three cities!

As always, it was all about the people and the cars! The unofficial award for the furthest traveled partint goes to John "MarkMan90" Hellebuyck for his 815 mile trek from Illinois to Pennsylvania! There we many new faces and names but the smiles remained the same. Our next get together will be the first Saturday in April and is called "The No Foolin Breakfast" For details please see your nearest Club Chapter or representative. Until then, please share in the fun by checking out these links!

I was thinking about going to the Baltimore meet. I tried contacting Rick through e-mail but never heard anything back from him.:o
Shawn, I didn't know you were going.
At first, i wasnt going to, then i decided to go. Went on the wrong weekend the first time.
It was fun, and Ricks car is just amazing, especially for it being out of a junkyard.
It was fun, i tried to wash my car, and the water kept freezing. So my car looks totally horrible.
Sorry about that Fred. :( I don't know what email addy you used, but I did not receive your email. If you used the Lincoln Mark VII Club addy, it does not work yet. But you can PM me here or click to email me. BTW, Shawn got an earful how much I like 87-88 Cougar XR7's!
Just an FYI - there is a South East PA meet this weekend, 3/11 in Springfield PA at the Old Country Buffet. Been there many times myself, its always a great time. Shawn, you have been invited too, don't forget to let me know if you're coming.
There will be an April Lincoln Mark VII Breakfast Meet at the Old Country Buffet in Carney on Saturday, April 1st.
Hope to see you guys soon.
Fred; I heard there are Friday night cruises at that Walmart in North East, do you go to those?
Rick, don't worry about it. No problem. I sent it to your Verizon account that's on your personal site. Probably had a problem with my email or something.
I won't be at the one in PA since I work this weekend.
Let's see, saturday april 1st... hey I'm not working that weekend. I'll try to be there.
Friday night cruises in North East?! I'll have to check that out. When do they begin? do you know? Ever since the Big M disappeared there hasn't been much around here other than at the old Ames parking lot on 22. I'll check it out next week since I work this Friday.
I can't believe I haven't seen your car before. I'm always in the Bel Air area and my eyes are as sharp as a hawk for spotting Marks, Birds, and Cougars.
Oh, and I know where you got your car :D I got my motor from one of the Lincolns in that yard (hint: red; rear-end damage).
Place has everything but I've gone head to head with the old guy running it so I haven't been back in years. Its unfortunate since he "only" has about 30 or so Fox cars.
I heard the North East Walmart cruises started in '05 after that Walmart in Elkton closed, don't know when they will start back up. I go up to those Rt 22 cruises almost every weekend. They will officially start up the weekend after the OC Cruise, but most likely sooner "unofficially".
That rear ended red car is on my web site. Got a couple interior items from it. I love that yard, but George has his moments. He is the fox body king of Maryland. Too bad the property has been sold and he'll be gone in about a year.
Oh great, now the Lincoln people are here. Don't you people know your place!:giggle:
Yes, anywhere I want to be. :D ;)
Well your car DOES look a lot like my Cougar. :D
Pro's Cougar = :headbang:
To bad i live all the way in texas really far away for the club but my friend might sell me his Lincoln mark 7 bill bass sky blue with cobra Rs and boss 429 scoop and cd player for under $2,000 so i hope i get some cash when he wants to sell it.
:rollin:
Shut up or we'll start a chapter in Texas ....
... hmmmm ... that's not abad idea ....

Joe "JoeyChrome" Mazzone 1988 Lincoln Mark VII LSC
RJ "RJ McDufferson" Scalafani 1989 Town Car
Another great meet with something old and something new! Old timer Brent Allen drove his Mark VIII over an hour to enjoy breakfast with the Pennsylvania Chapter of the Club. Jack debuted his new 1985 Bill Blass with an immaculate Carob (dark Brown) interior. The Club ran codes on a couple of cars, just to give the owners something to worry about. Jack received a visit from a curious 1990 Red Towncar. The single owner car was well maintained and sharp! RJ worked on that tan! A good time was had by all! :)

I'm going to try to make it to the June 24th run and the July 1st run. My car is down right now so I'm not sure if I can make the June 24th run!!!!!!
Not everyone can make it to all of the meets and we understand that. That's one of the reason why we try to have so many in so many differnt places.
Hope your ride get's back up soon without breaking the budget. It'll be in good company with all of the RED cars that are in the Club :)
Yeah, I'm going to be taking off my weld draglites soon too. I've gotta buy taller springs before I put them back on. The tires of the Welds rub the lip of the wheel well. It's easier to buy springs than roll lips and have it looks good!

see ya there.Good breakfest and cars
What else can you ask for?
We actually meet rain or shine.
There's plenty of parking and plenty of INDOOR space and we all sit together for a huge buffet style breakfast. As a matter of fact, I might be bringing my Kids this time ... if I can get em to wake the hell up before noon :)
It's five hours before the Downingtown, Pennsylvania Breakfast (http://www.thelincolnmarkviiclub.org/events/breakfast/2006/09/pa/20060902/index.htm) meet. Forcast reads light showers 67°F 40% chance of precipitation. Winds from the East at 14 mph.

The first breakfast of September was another great cruise! We've always said that every car was welcome and two Club Members proved that again. In addition to the two Mark VIIs that made it through the tail end of HURRICANE ERNESTO (http://www.weather.com/hurricanecentral/2006/ernesto.html?nav=2navbar), attendees drove a Cougar and an Infinity. The breakfasts have always been a family event. This was Charolette Wilde's first breakfast cruise. Her good friend, Rachel is no stranger to shows and cruises though as Mom and Dad (Rosalie and Jeff) are car enthusiasts. With several cars in their stable, their Lincoln Mark VII is undergoing exhaust work.

First Southern California Lincoln Mark VII Club Meet. October 29, 2006
(http://i95.photobucket.com/albums/l155/sundance0205/Cruise15.jpg)
Today, the The Lincoln Mark VII Club held it's first west coast event. It was held in Glendale, Ca., just 10 miles nortneast of Los Angeles, at Bob's Big Boy, a restaraunt well known for hot rod, custom car and motorcycle meets for over 40 years.
Bob's Manager, (in costume.... kinda has that Rod Stewart look goin' on), pledged to help us in any way he could and was a funny guy anyway!
The meet was held at 1:00 pm and the turnout was small but sucessful for an event held on such short notice. Tha manager was most hospitable and tells us that events like this take a while to catch on but usually gain momentum rapidly.
In attendance were:
1987brent
Mrs. 1987brent
Junkyardkat
and myself, artbaileyjr
1987brent & Mrs. 1987., brought their beautiful light blue (yep, you guseesd it) 1987 LSC. Junkyardkat drove her white 1991 LSC and I arrived in my dark blue 1987 LSC.
Tee shirts with the club logo were handed out as well as a CD containing the songs, "Hot Rod Lincoln" (Charlie Daniels version), "Loretta Lynn's Lincoln", "Crazy 'bout a Mercury" ( OK!... not too darn many songs out there about Lincolns! I had to pinch hit!), and the original Commander Cody and the lost planet airmen's version of "Hot Rod Lincoln", to listen to on the drive home.
Mr. & Mrs. 1987brent are delightful people and enthusiastic about their Mark and the Club.
We chatted at the cars for 40 minutes or so then went inside and had a great lunch. We all felt as though we had met long lost friends, and were sorry to adjourn at about 4:45.
left to right: Mrs. 1987brent, 1987brent, artbaileyjr, junkyardkat.
We did not set a formal date for the next meeting, but agreed on a monthly Meet & Greet. I will post the date as soon as I can figure out how to avoid the important upcoming holliday dates.
I think that the club has forged a firm core out here to truly spread the membership coast to coast.
Thanks for everybody's support.

RJ GOT A MARK VII! Wow! Looking back, this year yielded six Cruises in Springfield, PA alone! Today, six partints brought five Mark VIIs and lots of fun. Though it was a December day, we continued discussions about Carlisle 2007 (June 1,2,3) and the line-up of cruises and shows for the Club. Rob brought his 1989 Lincoln Mark VII with a color code of 9G that translates to Midnight Currant Red Pearl Metallic Clearcoat. Jerry was right about 9G ... it IS red :)
