OK Hypothetically speaking .. If any of us had to move to another country for their job and you couldn't keep your T-bird/Cougar, What would you get ?
Pick a country and post the car.
Never gonna happen. I don't think Sears will open up down there, but if it was Australia.
Ford FPV Pursuit UTE

Well, awhile back, I almost decided to go to Iraq, and seeing as how their....situation is what it is, I'd have been driving a truck, with a few
grunts for security.
No need for my Tbird over there. If I had a chance to go somewhere though, I'm with you, it'd be Australia, and one of those FPV Falcons...
But I still wouldn't give up my 'Bird! ;)
i dunno...it depends....who makes the arial atom? id trade my tbird AND the wifes car for one of those... ;)
LSX, you already pinpointed mine. All those Falcon series cars are incredible. I'm so jealous of the cool cars they get over there.
I really wish Ford would import 'em here, like GM did with the Holden Monaro/GTO...but they porbably think that if they did, less people would buy the new Mustang, i guess..
I dunno, a ute with a beefy 4.6 doesn't exactly hold the same market that the Mustang does. It's something to hope for (I hadn't thought about the Holden --> GTO think) but don't expect it from the Ford people.
I think the problem with those cars is that they're built in Australia and the UAW isn't too keen on Ford importing Ford-branded cars from other countries...
For example, I read in the magazines that the number of GTO's that GM was allotted for a year was actually mandated by the UAW because that's all the more they would allow. :dunno:
i'd say mexico so i could drive a old style bettle
or canada for a pontiac tempest (corsica)
Volkswagen actually quit making the old beetle in mexico a few years ago, it was a big deal. I think the last one off the line got put in a museum or some such.
right but I'm sure i could find 1 or 7000 of them :D
Very good one, Kyle. I'm sure there's nothing like (a couple years ago) buying a brand new 1979-style beetle. I've always loved old VWs too. Anyone know if they produced convertibles too?
yup. i'd go down under and get me one of the supped up I6 falcons.
or Euro and one of the wicked Evos thar aren't available here.
OK, the Beetle I can see, but a Tempest? :yuck:
I'ma gonna have to go with the Australian Falcon ute thing myself, but it would take something spectacular, more than a car, to make me ever want to move out of Canada. Is Australia looking for a new PM, by any chance? :D
If I was anywhere in Europe, I'd get a white econoline van. You know, the ones all over the british cop shows. It seems like if you drive one, you get a license to drive like an idiot. Over curbs, through intersections, and pushing cars, away I go.

0-144 in 14 secs top end of 250mph
Bugati
Falcons are all fine and dandy....If I ever move to Austrailia due to it getting too unbarably bad here....I'd get myself an FPV Typhoon GT...ya know the 4-door sedan with a 5.4L 380hp engine and six speed tranny? It's a genuine Mustang killer....or it would be if brought here untampered with.

sweet sweet car im saveing that pic too
Holden Commodore
Pictures say 1000 words.
I don't see them sending me anywhere but Europe, and there is nothing shagier than a British sports car.
well, sence this is never happening, ill be rich to and be in Australia because the women are hot and i'd lie and say i was Canadian because they hate americans lol. i'd buy a Mclarren F1 mostly because you can sit in the center and its a sweet ass car. then id have a baha car for fun
Canada or somewhere over in Europe, and get the original style Mini...they finished production in 2003
They stopped selling 'em here decades ago, Shawn. Of course Canada's vehicle importation laws are a whole lot more relaxed than USA's - anything older than 15 years is admissible (you actually see quite a few Skylines and other puppies supercars here considering they were never officially imported)
My dads friend bought a 93 Mini Cooper from up there. Interesting.
