Post by: 88turbo on February 12, 2006, 10:54:38 PM
Yesterday i put in a new flywheel and clutch set since the old clutch was slipping really badly.  now the clutch grabs really well but I have a rattle and a vibration at about 85mph  the rattle comes around at about 2500 rpms.  any idea?  :dunno:

Did you put the driveshaft back in the way it came out? If you didn't mark it try 180ing it on the yoke at the diff.

it is possible the grease pushed the bearing out.

I barely dabbed some from my finger I didnt fill the cavity full.  I am thinking it might be the plastic throwout bearing they gave me or the shifter fork that is missing one of the clips.  not really sure
