I traded in that cursed SHO on this! It's a 1996 Nissan Hardbody pick-up truck. King cab, XE, 4X4, cap, PS, A/C, tilt, cruise, CD. Sky Blue Metallic with a Charcoal cloth interior, 128K miles, and I'm the 2nd owner. Paid $6500 out the door (got $1000 for the SHO, tax was $600, talked him down a little from $6999). Now I can tow home more TC's! What do you think?
id a got it for 5:rollin:
jk...sweet truck, my buddy just bought his second one a few weeks ago...
More pics:flip:
TAKE THAT GAUDY CAP OFF MAN!
I'm a fan of nissan pickups myself. I too own a 96 XE.
Oh and www.nissanminis.com (http://"www.nissanminis.com") Great place been around for years. I was the 11 member to register like 5 years ago.
No chit right? It's cool for now cause it doesn't leak, but I want to get a full-window model and paint it blue. Something 1-piece fiberglass.
I had a '90 King Cab that was nearly trouble free for 500,000 miles. The only problems it had were a tendency to chew up a bearing on the countershaft in the tranny and rust. Lots of rust. Get it undercoated ;)
good little truck. i had a 95 reg cab and a 96 king cab
Nice looking truck man.
both of my buddys have push bars on the front...looks like something is missing in the front withough them, id get one of those and maybe a roll bar with lights ;) either way, great little truck man...
i liked the sho....
they are good trucks, i have a friend hear at work with one the same color, might even be the same year. anything with 4x4 and ground clearance kicks ass IMO. good deal. take some pix with mud on it :p
you know for the same money you coulda bought a truck.
jk if you like it thats what matters. a little truck like that just wont do what i need a truck to do. enjoy.
I've had a few big trucks, but NONE were as reliable as my old one. A 1986.5 Nissan King Cab hardbody. It had the Z motor and was a 2WD/5Speed. I bought it with 187K when I was 15 and beat the ever-living out of it till I was 20. Sold it with 302K on the clock. It was lucky to get new oil every 10K miles. It would sand-dune better than almost anything down in FL too. I'll get her muddy this week and take some real pics. Trucks are supposed to be dirty!
Nice truck, I've always liked Nissan. I agree with Claude though, that cap is pretty nasty.
my work has 2 for delivery trucks...'99 Frontiers both with about 300,000 on the od...no p/s or anything...2.4 I4 with 5spd...they'll move
