YEA BABY!!!!!! WOOOOOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
(sorry bout the caps) :tg:
C'Mon, did you expect anything less?
Awesome game! Although I can't say I fully agree with the call of the Steelers' first touchdown.
Flame me if you see fit. I'm not that into football.lol :flame:
the ball touched the tip of the line or at least the glove that was covering the ball did. Either way they would of scored anyways. :) I must say steelers got some lucky calls tho.
Yep HOW BOUT THEM STEELERS!!! :D :D :D
I'm so glad to finally see them win a super bowl. Makes me happy :)
Sure that first touchdown call was fishy but they won by more than a touchdown so, it's a moot point.
the super bowl was this tonight?
Thats what I said. :flame:
I thought the game was a bit boring, but I'm glad the Steelers won. I can't beleive some of the dropped passes though and the interceptions. I still had a great time haning with friends watching the game.
I still prefer college ball though ;)
I agree, I was pumped up more for the Indianapolis game than this one. But all in all, I still can't be disappointed.
All I have to say I already put up in my AIM screenname:
May God bless Jerome Bettis. Thank you so much for the memories, you shall be missed. And may Chuck Norris bless the Pittsburgh Steelers, thank you for getting at least one in my lifetime!!!
Since I have school and work, I have lost touch with professional sports. Plus I was rather busy. I was more interested in watching the inside of my eyelids:D , while hanging out with my girlfriend. :tg: :ies:
what is this super bowl that you speak of. is it cherios or is some kind of soup. the idea of a super bowl sounds good, there is just never enough food in a regular bowl.
I don't follow pro sports at all really, but it was neat to have the most local, most respectable local team take it all the way. I guess.
I was surpised to learn just today that this Big Ben Roethlisberger fellow is just about a year older than I am! Good Lord, what am I doing wrong? I'm making 6.75 an hour at a gas station and this guy pulls in millions of dollars in a year (am I right?). It's really amazing to think that someone could be that proficient and make it so big so fast. *Sigh* Wouldn't trade places with him, though, I'm sure his body will be well wrecked by the time he hits the 45 year mark. In any case, hats off to the Steelers, I'm sure Pittsburgh is still a disaster area even at this hour.
I haven't yet spoken to my brother, but I'm sure Pittsburgh was chaotic last night.
The first half was a little boring, but it got pretty good after the half. Helluva game!
I passed out before halftime....Had a long day.....Were there any good commercials in the second half? The only one I thought was good in the first was the FedEx one.
The only commericials I liked was the "dont judge" with the lady getting up to the use the restroom on the airplane, then the lights came on and she fell onto that guys lap. Good laugh. ANd the other was the magic refrigerator.
The ads are becoming less funny each year. Seems like ABC clutters the game with advertisp00gets for their dumb lineups.
I liked the Motorola cell phone ad with "security features" that gets thrown at the guy.
Hell when the news came on right after the game, they said there were 15 blocks closed down in pittsburgh due to all the people celebrating in the streets. They said there were 8 people arrested but no fires or cars flipped over, fortunately.
They need to be more like the citizens of Morgantown, eh?
:D
I should know. I was there for the big street fires when we beat VA Tech at home. :flame:
My dad works for FedEx Freight and every year they make a big deal to their employees about seeing the commercials. The past couple years, they have had some really py ones. We were all glad to see a good one this year.
That was hilarious.
