Anyone know what the weight distribution is on our cars.
Specifically 87-88 Cougars with a 5.0 S.O.
The old magazine articles I read list the '87 turbo coupe at 57/43...I figure the 5.0 cars are probably close to that.
I doubt that, I dont have exact numbers, but I would guess closer to 70/30
So....you're saying the back half of the car isn't nearly as heavy as the front? That all the weight is in the engine? Please, share your insight. :hick:
70/30?? dude, it's not a frickin FWD!
Heck a new F-150 has a 57/43 weight distribution. I doubt our cars are 70/30:rolleyes:
I would imagine a Cougar would probably be more balanced than a Thunderbird - their longer roof makes 'em look more butt-heavy, anyway...
90/10 My car is plastic from the front doors back.

Try again.
Now, it's apples to oranges, but my '83 Tbird was 54/46 the last time I 4-corner weighed it. :hick:
well that is what I thought it was. Lemme check my papers, I had the front and the back weighed once.
