Cougarse: Its about 60 miles and they are in condition. There is an orange ring painted in the middle. I will try to strip it for you if you want..

5.8 fast cat: yes I do. They are mechanical and in great condition. Nothing astheitclly wrong either. It might be hard for me to get a pic. They are mechanical also.

I have a TBI 5.0 attached to a Crown Vic AOD sittin in my dad's garage that I want to get rid of.  And a set of early pre-smog 5.0 heads that have tons of potential if ported.  I have no use for them right now.  PM me for details.  I live in eastern PA.

Billyf17: What are the heads from orginally?

Cougrrr302: Do you meen $30 a piece? If not, I'll just keep them.

I'm not sure what they are off of, but they use the larger diameter and coarse threaded spark plugs.  They have new valves, springs, caps, and retainers as well.

Ok, EFI heads use a fine thread smaller diameter spark plug.  As far as I can tell, the heads I have are pre-EGR, meaning they don't have a passage to allow gasses from the heads to the intake manifold to allow for...well EGR.

They are D20E heads.  They have been milled so the are straight, and have 58cc chambers.  The springs tested at 300 lbs at 1.250".  The biggest cam that can be used is .525" lift.  Flow numbers stall out after that anyway.  Other wise they are very nice heads and very very capable if ported correctly.  Even stock the flow pretty good.

Are they set up for hr or solid cam?

They don't have rockers.  Other than that I'm not sure how to tell what cam to use.

Norry, no pics. Theres nothing to see anyways. It has some minor fin bendage but thats it. The longer tube is cut off about an inch up. I still have the rest of tube if you would ever want to put it on.
