Title: ATTN. 4-cyl Guys
Post by: DakotaEpic on February 02, 2006, 03:01:44 PM
A friend of mine is trying to redo the valve train on his head for his OHC Celica but says that a normal Valve spring tool wont work on it since the valves are recessed.  What kind of tool do you guys use to compress your valve springs to take out your valves?
Thanks,
Paul

Almost every brand of car toyota i now has there own tool. Might be kinda pricey for a cheap tool call autozone or checker and ask.

I use the KD3087 for Ford 2.3 heads, next to last item on the page. I have no idea what works for Celica heads.
