Well, I got a lead on a '90 mustang that's been smoked in the rear, motor runs pretty strong yet, 120,000 miles on it, the guy told me he wants $600 out of it, but don't have the money right now, so he's gonna try to hold on to it for me, so, looks like I might have myself a good motor finally. WHOO-HOO! :headbang:
Sounds like a good deal. I'd definitely hear the motor if you are going to pay 600 bucks though....are you getting the entire car or just the motor? At the junkyards around me, you can get an entire longblock 5.0 HO rin running condition for about 200. Where are you located??
I have heard the motor run, since it's a private owner selling it, and I'll be getting the entire car, which I figured isn't too bad of a deal. So I'm also thinking about swapping out the suspension and rear end. I'm located up inbetween Eau Claire and Menomonie, tiny little place of less than 1,000 people, called Elk Mound.

No, unfortunately it's just a basic automatic, but I still plan on using almost all the parts I can.
