I picked that one up after I quit World of Warcraft because I was jones'n for another MMO, but sadly it could not compare in any way whatsoever. It was fun, and free, but I'm just too much of an in depth player that likes to be able to tweak everything. It's all good though, I got EQ2 and that game is awesome.
Sony can eat me. I just started a char on a PvP for WoW, don't have time to play 2 mmorpg's so I am just sticking with WoW (Archimond and Blackhand servers)
Yeah, dumbass me forgot to read who was the host for EQ 2. Trust me, I know Sony blows. I hate them with every bone in my body. But This game is so seriously similar to WoW that if I didn't know better, I'd say they shared dev teams. Anyhow, I just read about the expansion they are creating for WoW and with it's release date 6 months away that gives me plenty of time to get bored with EQ and dump it to go back to WoW. Unless I actually get the money to build my new PC in which case I'll just get Elder Scrolls Oblivion, and be content with that for a year.

Only played Guild Wars during the open E3 demo.. was OK, but I really don't like the whole swords-and-sorcery bit anymore. Did it to death. I tend to look for sci-fi/futuristic MMOs now.
Got into the Penny Arcade weekend for the Auto Assault beta yesterday, been playing that ever since.. decent game. Gets repetitive fast, though. (but then, after like 10 MMOs now, they all do that for me)

CS is just a slow moving rip off of Action Quake 2. refuse to play it, one of the "developers" of CS ripped code off from the Action Quake 2 team and sold it the CS ppl.
Action Quake however is the best FPS ever made, period.
No, the Guild Wars E3 demo was open to the public. You could play it at home, or at E3. I did the home part. :p
