I bow down to your originality, Mr. Cougar 4x4 Inventor.
Mother of god...
Great picture, too.
Bud light presents...Real Men of Genius.
Today we salute YOU, Mr. 4x4 Cougar Driver.
Not satisfied with any ordinary four wheel drive, you decided to put your Cougar body on a truck chassis. And if that weren't enough, then you put on 44" tires. It may be illegal in most states, but it's unique to you, no matter what all your friends say about it. So crack open a cold bud light, mr. 4x4 cougar inventor. Because while everyone else drives around in their SUV's, you've got a monster Cougar.
Mr. 4x4 Cougar Driiiiiverrrrr
Anheuser Busch, St. Louis, Missouri.
1986 MERCURY COUGAR, 4x4, 44's, V8, auto., runs good, turn every head in town for only $3000
I could drive around with my ass hanging out the window, and it would cost me less.
and , the bud ad post was toooo funny.
lol.... xD
there's a tbird version floating around somewhere.
How did I know that the "bud commercial" was going to happen after I read Eric's post. That's too funny.:giggle:
Why do I think that little step on the side is of no use at all. I'd split my pants trying to get into that thing.
, why do these chicken shiznits have to mess up a perfectly good Fox to do this to?
Why can't they use a civic or somebody???
The sad thing is, I see cougars quite often with running boards. :yuck: Usually MN-12's, but ugly either way.
Haha, I dont' know, but the front end just looks fitting. Lol it's a freaking riot, but somehow, it doesn't honestly look terribly bad. I'd drive it over a stupid over done ricer any day. And yeah the Bud thing was a freaking riot.
thats one of the things i thought about doing to my bird. i went to high school with a guy that did that to a hurst.
He wouldn't have been the one who created the Grave Digger monster truck would he. lol
no, you're younger than I am so that's definately not true.
I think a hurst is a pretty cool idea though.
A Hurst? Poor Olds! :yuck:
;) I think you guys mean Herse.

All i know is that as a redneck who goes mudding when it's wet out, thats shagy. Now, I can have my cake and eat it too. On another note, the cougar is different, and while I sympathize with others about hacking up a good one, to each his own, it was prolly rusted out in all the wrong spots anyway. But for this, http://www.jtruck.net/misc/4x4cars/ (http://"http://www.jtruck.net/misc/4x4cars/") the delorean is a different ballgame. Isn't there only a few handfuls of those things left?
Wow, 84t-bird started it and I fell right into it too. I can't believe I screwed that up.:flame:
I've always heard the memory is the first thing to go:giggle:
Actually I'm pretty sure they meant
hearse.:D
There are too many good cars in that link. That's just not right.
im oretty sure i have never been sure as to which it was so thanks for the help there.
The "bud light" thing was funny, but isn't that the Miller High Life style?
There was somebody out here that did that to a Corvette, of all vehicles...stuck it on a blazer chassis with 36's on it, and painted it primer black. woo.
hell yea didnt i do this before hang on
yea i did catzilla is my dream but for now it's a messed up photo shop
 LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL ROFL LOL LOL Pure poetry. Beautiful Job Red!!!!
Heres your T-Bird. Jesus won't these people learn. Spotted a Cougar exactly like that here, sitting in a yard.

thats even the same color as mine (at least the red parts.)
We should be honored these people picked our cars to "customize" thier Bronco frame. Not bitching about how they tore up a perfectly good cougar or t-bird. How do we know it was perfectly good?
Thanks :D It came to me in a vision!
That's the funny thing, I typed that just right off the top of my head, if I woulda actually thought about it it probably wouldn't have been that great.
That guy could attend both Cat Jam and the 4-wheeler convention there in Youngstown every July. :hick:
:rollin:
You know...I'm from the North, okay. I'm a Yankee. Whatever. I'm not going to get into Southern stereotypes here, tempting as it may be (this Cougar 4x4 is being sold in Alabamer). But at some point, somebody down there looked at that Cougar and said, "Dayum, that shor would look good as a fer-by-fer!" And then they actually did it. Now how much alcohol do you think was involved in this process? ;)
am i the only one who thinks this thing is badass? sheesh
Hey, this is my pwnage here. Get your pwn! :nono:
:dunce:
Sort of. I think it's bad and looks like ass. :hick:
Lets have a little lesson here:
4X4= Truck
Cougar= CAR
Do not mix :dunce:
sad thing is, i see these things all the time in michigan, I have seen EVERYTHING on a bronco/blazer chassis all jacked to the sky. I kid in highschool even did it to an 80's cutlass supreme..
I would drive that every day. I would have to put smaller tires on it but i would love to have it.and everybody that is hating on this guy is just pissed that they couldn't do it.
You know what just came to me?
While I wouldn't own that living in this country, it would be cool to have in Iceland for off-road and glacier driving.
When I was up there, I had a Montero with 36" tires - Gumbo Mudders. Lots of people had trucks with 32 - 34 inch tires and quite a few had tires going 36 inches and larger.
It's possible to see vehicles up there with big tires and lift kits that most other places wouldn't consider.
I've seen pictures of those things...don't they lift em like 3" and then cut out the fenders to fit 38's or even 44's?
I have an issue of four wheeler where this guy goes up to iceland and there's a guy up there with a Tundra driving on the glaciers (no pun intended) that has 38's on it believe, and they comment on how the Tundra cost $85,000 up there. ouch!
-beats out the '71 dart between my house and work...:toilet:
And to think, I thought that the lincoln mark 7 about an hour from me was bad, and they only got it up on 31's.
Lemme get my camera out and get there and get internet back at my house and I'll post em up, hopefully that should be within a week or so. Maybe even sooner.
