I wonder if that $20,000 buy it now price is equal to the dollar amount of the money stuck in the paint, or just what his obviously over-inflated ego "thought" it was worth. :yuck: :disappoin :bs:

wow, the money in the paint is about as gay as ever. I can even handle rice cars now, the rest of the car looks like it had "okay" work done (the dash looked suspect to me), but , what prizes did he win, stupidest car own for wasting money in the worst paint job ever?

A TV in the steering wheel? That sounds like a good way to get into a wreck.

Also... "had to use whole room for trophies and still not enough room " So those 10 trophies fill an entire room?

well, considering the money in the paint, after his welfare check was spent, all he could afford was a tiny trailer.. and yes 10 trophies would fill it.

I wonder if the dipshi$% knows that it is illegal to destroy real U.S. currency like that.  It'd be funny if he was at a car show, and all of a sudden who ever enforces that law(not like they really do, but maybe since it was such a stupid use of money they'd actually be mad)shoes up and arrests the guy.

Okay I think it's a stupid stupid idea, but it is not illegal.

Quote
Title 18 United States Code, Section 333

Mutilation of national bank obligations

Whoever mutilates, cuts, defaces, disfigures, or perforates, or unites
or cements together, or does any other thing to any bank bill, draft,
note, or other evidence of debt issued by any national banking
association, or Federal Reserve bank, or the Federal Reserve System,
with intent to render such bank bill, draft, note, or other evidence
of debt unfit to be reissued, shall be fined under this title or
imprisoned not more than six months, or both.

Note that this is an intent-based crime. An element of the offense is "...intent to render such [currency] unfit to be reissued."  There are no case laws interpreting this statute so it is difficult to say how this would be applied by the courts if the defendant intended to destroy the currency but had no specific regard for his acts' effect on the ability of the Federal Reserve System to reissue the note.

Because of the "intent" requirement, it is unlikely that a prosecution would be possible if the primary purpose of the destruction of the currency was a speech act (e.g, impregnating bills into your ricer's paint job).

I dunno about anyone else, but me personally, I'd pry the cash outta the clearcoat.  If half of it's real, I'd say that's atleast, more money than I started out with.  I'm not one to steal at all, infact, I think it's absolutely wrong.  But after seeing something that I think his right to think should be stolen aswell.  Just funny, and wrong, on so many levels.

Just to let everyone know it is not real money. Every one of those bills have the same serial number. It is fake.

I like the fact he says its a show car but none of the gauges match. The judges would be all over that thing picking it apart. It also says it has a TV in the steering wheel. I will belive that one when I see a pic of it.

Don't get me wrong I admire the guy for the time and effort he put into it but you get half a show car for 20K give me a break.

I don't, outrageously poor taste deserves no appreciation.  I could decorate a turd and polish it for hours  - it would still be poop.

He could have made the paint look half-way decent. It looks like a 2 year old just stuck twenties on the car wherever they pleased. "half of the money is fake". Thats nice to know that he is counterfeiting money.:bs:
