Pics Are Attached!
Ok, so at the moment, the Thunderbird Is for sale. Before i say anything else, the Head Gasket is Blown. The car still runs, but you get the idea (very shiznitty). But, At the moment, the car is up for $850 <>. This is for now. A member of FoxTbirdCougarForums.com has a motor that i am contemplating buying and dropping in with my rebuilt turbo, and if i do not sell it as it sits in a month or so (maybe a little longer), i will For Sure buy the motor, put it in, and raise the price to around $1500. At that point it will go in Autotrader Also, so the locals can have their chance to get it. O.k, here is some info.
1988 Thunderbird Turbo Coupe, Black with Blue Cloth. 173k miles.
Pro's:
-5 speed, Strong clutch, Tranny has NO grinds.
-The Paint is in pretty good shape, Esp. for an 88, with only a couple of small chips
-No noticable dents or dings, one or two about the size of a quarter that are only noticable when it is waxed and in the sun.
-The Interior is Perfect
-Dual power seats, Dual power mirrors, Power Sunroof, Power locks, Power Windows, And keypad that unlocks the doors and pops the trunk... ALL OF THESE WORK GREAT.
-Cd Player
-Windows Tinted, with previous owners reciepts.
-IHI rebuilt, Have receipts
-NEW Ignition Switch
-NEW starter.
-Alternator Has been replaced.
-New rear end bearings and rear axle bearings that have 3k on them, and at that time, Rear Disks Were Turned.
-The Trak Lok Is still holding up well.
-All lights, tails, blinkers ect. work great, NO wiring issues whatsoever.
-ABS, 4 wheel discs, Ect. Standard for 1988 TC's.
Snowflakes=16" wheels (standard), i painted 'em black, and i personally think they look sweet.

Cons.
-Well, the head gasket is blown, or course.
-Two Front tires are needed.
-That is all i can think of really. Motor is the main downfall.

That is her, all waxed up and clean. The pics do not do the Interior justice, it is immaculate.
Oh i just remembered from my sig, The exhaust ends Directly at the End of the first Catylitic converter, so it is a tad loud. LoL
-And front Struts are soft. But overall, it still handles  well.

Don't tempt me, I already dont have any space or money.  Maybe I can convice a family member or close friend to buy it...

Yeah, theres a HO 5.0 and T5 sitting in my garage, but you cant have it   I got it from a friend in Flowery Branch - he does still have the upper and lower intake, 'puter, and wiring from his '87 stang - but its speed density.  He wanted to hang on to it all, but if youre interested i'll give him a holler.

By the way i'm in North Hall, up Thompson Bridge Rd - where you at?

Why do you have to be in GA!! If you were in Ohio or atleast a state next to me I would buy it. I'm wanting a T-bird in the worst way, especially a TC.

LoL, a year ago, i didn't even know they made mustangs, tbirds, cougars, or fairmonts with 4 cylinder turbos. WISH I HAD THOUGH! i would have had a TC instead of the crx that i made a canyon carver (with 1500 in the whole car though).

I have somebody coming to look at it Sunday (besides fairmont) who says he is really interested, and it is exactly what he is looking for, so we shall see how that plays out.

I was going to rebuild it and make it my drift car, but it is a little on the heavy side, and the suspension is kind of a pain to set up for drifting. I am selling it for more funding for my Rx7-302 project daily drifter LoL. I will probably buy another one late this year, i really am going to miss this car, it was my first turbo love hahaha.

Hey whats up. I'm here in atlanta and had a few questions for you. Do you guys have emissions in gainsville? Will it pass? Have you ever raced it at the track? Turned up the boost beyond stock? What caused te headgasket to go? Overheat, detonation, age? I've got a clean body 88 5.0 but the suspension and most of the rest of the car is in poor shape, so I'm looking for another bird. I've got a buddy that can do mechanical work and help me fix the headgasket, if thats all it is. Would you be willing to let me come and check it out today? I might be able to drive up there quick. Let me know.

AAA+++ for Austin's TurboCoupe.  I went at checked it out today and it is very sweet.  Clean, unmolested - a  good looking car.  My two friends and I are all trying to scheme on ways to come up with the money to buy it (but we wont, we're all broke)

Highly Recommended.

Thanks dude, had a great time looking at the car and shootin the bull.

GAtbird- unfortunately i did not get your message until it was dark now. I am going to be off thursday, at which time somebody is driving down from Alabama to check it out. i will let you know if it sells, but if not, you are welcome to shoot down here then. Hit me up with a message, or leave me a phone number and i will shout at you sometime tonight or tomorrow before work.

Sleeper Tbird- No worries about the post, i will for sure keep my eyes out, it always sucks to hear about a fellow enthusiasts car stolen. I'll spread the word.

302Fairmont- Thanks, i had a good time b/sing about cars and what not. When i get my Rx7 project done, we will have to all get together again sometime. Thanks everyone, i am getting a lot of bites on turboford.org, but at teh moment it IS still for sale. Thanks
