Title: I could have had this...
Post by: 302Fairmont on January 23, 2006, 09:17:06 PM
If had been paying attention this weekend, I could have bought this:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=4605047586&rd=1&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWA%3AIT&rd=1

Item number: 4605047586

Thats about 20 minutes from me and I swear if I had been watching the auction I would have bought it.  I can't believe it went for only $540!

I always thought that was the most suggestive name for a town that I have ever heard.  I live about a two-hour drive north of there.

Dang, that car is kinda rough! But I guess with some TLC it could be made into something nice. There's also some good parts in the car as well.

spooging is a pretty gross name for a town, any way you look at it.

It looked rough, hacked, and a little hick-ified - but still, I would have thought with a T5 conversion and a 5.0 it would have brought more than that.  $540?  c'mon!

I wonder if he puts an air filter on it before he "Drives it all around town"

Front frame section is pretty mangled. $500 about what I wouldve paid MAX. Needs too much work. Would make a nice parts car tho, has all the parts for the t5 swap, good doors, trac-loc rear end.

Hard to tell from the pics(or lack of) but the core support looks shoved back abit plus the bumber mounts are a little off.

It had severe front damage  would need to be put on a frame machine and possibly have the section from the struts forward replaced.

I personally wouldnt have gave more the 200.00 for the car.
