I'm looking for a Cat or Bird, preferably '85 and up, any of the models, in good shape mechanically and esthetically. Basically a car that I can drive off in and not need to do anything but basic maintenance to for at least a few months.
I'm not buttstuff about the looks factor, so some rust and/or dings would be ok, but I definitely don't want to have to get stuck in the engine bay a week after buying it.
I'm in Southwest Missouri, Joplin to be exact, but I'm willing to travel if the right car shows up.
How about a '88 turbo coupe 5sp car?
sounds great, give me some pictures, a location, and a price
I'm @ work we have a better intenet connection. Here are some pic of the T_bird
I have a 5.0 LS Cougar 88 dual-exhaust moonroof car. Runs and drives great. It needs an EGR tube and OD :D $500
hehe, long trip to washington, and without OD it would probably be an even longer one back, provided that the AOD doesn't out entirely.
Eh, bring an extra $700 and hav it rebuilt before you leave, for $1200 you have a near-perfect Coug.
Thanks to everyone who replied, I have bought a '96 Pontiac Grand Prix for $2000. Not willingly, but I start a new job on Monday, which requires me to have a set of wheels. Hopefully I will one day have the money and time to again invest in a Thunderbird.
