Just checking Here, what type of browser do you use?

I use firefox, it is much better than IE!

If you use any cool extensions for firefox post them here.  I must start it off by saying install smoothwheel.  very nice.

What's smoothwheel? Sounds like I might be interested in that if it makes the scrolling smoother. Any other plug-ins for Firefox?

Smoothwheel makes scrolling with the mouse wheel as smooth as using the bar on the right side of the browser.  So far with extensions I have one that tells me when I get my yahoo mail and another to remove ads from google.

I use Firefox with Adblock (removes ads including those really annoying flash ones), Customize Google (removes google ads and does some other stuff), Tabbrowser Preferences and Ebay Negs (right click on an ebay user name and click "show negs" and it shows only the person's negative feedback)

Firefox. Once you start tabbed browsing, you can never go back.  I even use DeadAim for my instant messaging so I can tab those windows too.

I use Explorer.
I'm too lazy to download Firefox although it looks like I'll have to give it a shot.

I stopped using IE (went to FireFox) because my spyware/popup blocker couldn't stop the latest intrusion of pop-ups :(

These popups still occur when I use windows explorer (ie windows folders) - how the **** do I get rid of these popups - they're driving me crazy! I have Norton Antivirus, AVG, AdAware & Spybot.

If someone could help me with this problem I would be most grateful!!

Ok i'm convinced now that fasterfox makes a diffenrce.

Microsoft has a new spyware program out too.

*EDIT*
Here is a screen shot of my scan,  there was 37 days between scans and this is all the  I have on my computer.  Not much. *

You suck :flip: This is the results from my first Adaware scan since my last HDD reformat 13 months ago: 2 objects found, both were cookies. I keep my 'puter clean by using  Cleaner, RecScrubXP, MS Antispyware, Firefox, and good ol' common sense (I will not  click on any banner, in fact I have Adblock set so I don't see 'em to begin with)

I dont' use any programs to block anything,  just have service pack2 on xp with that stupid security thing in the corner.

Safari 90% of the time, firefox the rest. Zero anti-spyware programs, zero anti-virus programs, zero anti-adware programs, etc. With Safari's "block pop up windows" box checked, 99.9% pop up free.

Same here, except I use Safari about 100% of the time. Also have been fond of Opera using dialup.

mozilla and miranda (for tabbed IM's) still have to use IE for work cause the web programmers have a problem with writing for anything OTHER than IE.

haven't used many of the extensions yet, but smoothwheel sounds cool.
