Apparently he is 87CougarShyDude.
I think it will be more of a milestone when we break 300 active members
Or if we hit it like fordtrucks.com
Edit*Jim I was getting ready to say that!*
this is probably the most active board i visit and it has the fewest member
*active meaning that most posts have some sort of interest level to them and are the more message board spam
and welcome and congrats to the guy that doesn't see his on congrats post hehe.
He probably saw this thread, thought 'what am I doing?', and ran away screaming. :giggle:
Welcome aboard!
Ok Ok Ok !!
I'm logged in now!
Wow...I'm honored.
Too bad I didn't win the $3500 is cost me last week to do all the body work and repaint the thing (I'll post pics later this week).
Instead I won a dead battery when I tried to start it up on Sunday.
Welcome
My first Cougar liked to reward me the same way. I swear that car could smell monet in my wallet. Anytime I had extra dough, which wan't often due to the fact I was in high school and then college when I owned it, it would break.
Thanks Paul...no need to post pics of my own Black Hole ;)
Your car is identical to mine!!
And since you're in Farmingdale and my kids live in Lake Grove, it's possible one of us will see the other stranded one day ;)
Actually the one in the pic has served me well. My money pit was a red V6
I can't bitch about either 87 Cougar I've owned. My original LS had 185,000 miles when I sold it in 1999 to my idiot cousin. Then he got another 40,000 miles out of it before he donated it. The one I have now was given to me by the guy up the block, since he was ready to donate it last August. It's cost me about $2000 more than I wanted to spend on it but I did it because it's a 1987 Cougar XR7. If the guy up the block had a 1987 Toyota Corrola to donate, I wouldn't have even looked at it. SO really...no regrets here.
way to save it. it is money well spent in our eyes.
