Title: These are for the Carbed motor right?
Post by: 1WLD BRD on December 27, 2005, 12:50:42 PM
(http://i19.ebayimg.com/02/i/05/c3/60/32_1.JPG)

I bought them off E-bay for the '85 Cougar, but I was thinking about throwing them on the t-bird if they would clear the upper intake.  I haerd somewhere that you can use them if you have a phenolic spacer.

Nope they're for carb'd engines. You could probibly use them with a spacer but you would have to figure out a how to route the pcv air intake line or use a breather on the passenger side cover. I don't know if the breather would hit the throttle cable bracket though. Other side should be fine but your oil fill hole is going to be under the upper intake :D .
