Title: 87 TC in my junkyard
Post by: srv1 on December 26, 2005, 08:18:32 PM
It is in my junkyard in my town. Here is a little info. It is stick with tan leather interior and tan exterior. It is missing the turbo, drivers mirror, passengers tail light and that is about it. It does have a sunroof not a moonroof. Need anything? Seems to be in good shape. Even the 4 wheels are still there. Some rust in the rear quarters. Let me know quick before people start ripping it apart.

What's your location?  And how much would they sell the whole car for?

I dont think they can sell you the whole car once it goes out in the yard to be picked. What do you need? Is your car that bad?

Endlinks you might as well get new. They would probably break trying to take them off. Check your PM.

5.8fastcat: I do have an extra pair of TC inner lights and headlights - they were in the trunk of the TC I bought. I'm keeping the ones that are actually bolted to the car because they're new, but I can let you have the other ones pretty cheap (shipping would be a bit more, though, as they'd be coming from Canada). I'll take some pics of the headlights and let you decide if they're in too bad condition if you'd like (they have the normal yellowing/hazing but can probably be cleaned up decently).

Ok, the headlights suck and the inners are in OK condition. Passenger power seat is still in it but I have no clue if it works and those suckers are heavy. Header panel is still there but it would be pretty pricey on the shipping part due to its size and that goes for the bumper cover too. The rearend is gone. From what I remember, this is what is left:

Seats, front nose and lights, cluster, power sunroof(not moonroof), front spindles complete, motor(no turbo or intercooler), air meter and tranny(T5).

Now the small or medium stuff I can handle. The bumper covers or any large or heavy object is going to be pricey for shipping. The whole center console and parts were sold to Jeremy so that is long gone.

The seat track is part of the motor assembly, right? I took mine off when I switched from the 60/40 seats to the TC seats and that sucker  was heavy. I know you dont need the seat itself. Can anyone verify this?

Yes the pedals are there but the M/C isnt. PM me.

The spindles and brakes are gone and pretty much the car is picked clean. I tried getting parts for some of you but they were gone.
