What is the benifit to a double or even triple pick up quadrant?

I need to find that out myself for my t-5 swap..I'm not knowlegable about manuals.

The reasoning for the double or triple hook is so if the cable happens to stretch out you have more adjustment out of it.

also, sometimes you can find differently curved quad's that let you dump the clutch faster. i have one of these lay'n around somewhere and they work, but they take a little getting used to.
