it is at a friends house it is a 6" lift off

so far this is what it has

fresh 306

ported e7's

b-cam

performer intake

600 holley

msd 6al box

a/c eliminator

equal lenth shorties

2.5 off road h-pipe and 2 chambers

4.10 gear and a tightly packed limited slip

A stiff ass clutch

5 speed

centerline convo pro's 15x4 and 8's with new tires

brand new subframe connectors

and the all important monster tach

6" harwood cowl hood "lift off"

-----------------------------------------------------------------

this is what i seen so far car pulls real good

but has some small things i need to fix.

But it made the 130 mile trip back home without skipping a beat!!!!!!

nice ride.  Gotta pull that motor and clean/paint the engine bay this spring. ;)

Its on my to do list.. there is some things i am going to redo that i dont like on it:D

Nice :D . I'm assuming that the 429 TC is still faster right? That Stang looks like it weighs about 2500 pounds!

we have had rain and storms all day:flame:  I did stop in the car wash and took a few better ones

Nice car for sure but you should have kept the Bird. Too many Mustangs not enough Birds. Post some daylight pics if that is possible.

I agree with the hood.  Throw a 2 1/2" or 4"er on it.

245/60/15 rear 165's on the front


I plan on putting the hood back to the way it is supposed to be
and meet with the windsheild.

Yeah a shorter cowl or stock hood would be better. Now that 6" hood would look good if ya had a 429 under the hood......;)

Yeah, chalk up another tally for different hood.  I like the color though.  I don't see too many in blue around here.  Have fun with it, but don't go totally over to the dark side and sell the 429 on us:grinno: .

Hmm, might have to rethink about moving to TN. Wife and I spent our honeymoon in Townsend, and went back for a week this past summer with her parents. Beautiful out there!:D

Dang Mustangs get it easy. How many different design aftermarket lights can you get? I never counted, but I know there's a lot.

they make some nice one peice ones now insted of the 6 peices.

Make the hood meet the windshield. Looks odd stopping at the back of the hood. What size of engine? I like the blue, are you keeping the black/carbon fiber looking hood that way or painting it to match?

I have been tuning on it. Ive got a set of hi flow cats to put on it tommorow or maybe monday.

Im going to use everytrick in the book. and hope for the best and expect the worse.

It used to previous owner (modified) the hood cause he said he couldn't use the wipers.Later on i will probly add the missing section back.


it is supposed to be a .30 over 302 = 306 cu in

the hood will stay in black gelcoat for now untill i decide what i am going to do about the rear section.Will probly be painted to match the car.

actually you can buy new headlights for the t-birds.

as far as i know they are not reproduced so far. When they do i will be first in line for a set for my 87 turbo coupe.All i have seen so far is the headlight lenses.
