Man, you suck! I couldn't even touch a car like that around here for less than $3500, and one in that good of shape would more than likely run $4000-6000. That's why I ended up with my Turbo Coupe, I found it for $1250, I couldn't find a 5.0 Fox for twice that even.

Yes I'm willing to take a road trip.  Price depends upon condition.

Definatly not.

On the way to the meet Bane and I organized, i ended up having to limp the car there, and the pump decided to let go about 50 yards from our parking area. Had to let it cool down and take off. Then it failed on the way home once again.

Find a clean 4 cyl and do the engine/tranny/rear end swap. Clean 4 cyl cars are easier to find than clean, non ragged 5.0 cars. You can usually find a old lady who bought a 4 cyl Mustang who thinks its worth $4-500. 8.8 will cost you $100, 5.0 with tranny will be $7-800 and the wiring harness and computer will run $100-150.

and the breaks and the springs shock struts spindles rotors calipers, sway bars and lets not forget the time. the fule pump the dash bc everyone wants the 140 speedo. seats. 4bangers got base seats. . just cheaper and ezier to find the 5.0 car that needs minimal work.

:iagree:

With the baby it's becoming tough to find time to do total cars from the ground up...

yea its just easier to find a original 5.0 car I think. to much  needs to be changed but if someone has the money and or time go right ahead just to much  for me to bother doing. alot of times people want to much for a 4cyl no matter which body style cuz it has a good body since people want to swap the 5.0s in them. Like i seen a red 87-93 4cyl notch for like 4k...couldnt believe it.
