Get ready to be sick at this. (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=6240&item=4506479230&rd=1&ssPageName=WDVW)
It's like the evil twin of Shawn's car...except it's de-evolving.
what the??? i've never seen such??? huh? *scratches head* ....... O_o? but he still has the? aggggghhhhh!!!!
....
What the... :wtf: *gives up and goes back to bed...*
*ring* *ring*
"Hello, Autobahn Porsche... Why fly when driving is faster."
Hi, I just bought a brand new Twin-turbo Carerra from you guys. I was wondering if it would be possible for you to remove the turbos, swap that gas-guzzling six-banger for a 1200cc Beetle flat-4, and exchange the tires for something more sensible, like some 135/80-13s on steel wheels? Oh, and what kind of wire hubcaps do you carry?
:flame:
Well, there goes another paperweight. :wtf:
If bidding reaches $750.00 I will include turbo 4 cylinder motor, automatic transmission, and other related parts that I have.
Wait a minute............ are you telling me that you've still got the lump? FOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL
Gotta love the air pump hose duct taped into the airbox :slap: maybe he thinks it's a supercharger!!! :screwy:
(and people bitch about doing 5.0 conversions on TCs) :wtf:
This one is worse...
85 XR-7 w 300ci I6 (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=6783&item=7933991171&rd=1)
Nope, it's a 200 I6.. the 300 is probably too big to put in there if you want to keep your hood.
144/170/200/250 I6 = small block I6 (250 is taller than the rest, tho.. kinda like 351W vs. 289/302)
240/300 = big block I6
I wanted to put an inline-6 in a Bird or Cougar.. but I don't think I'd have wasted an XR-7 on it.
That car is definitely a resident of Beaterville.. and yet his starting price is $20 higher than what I paid for my V8 '88. Go figure.
Hey Chuck, too bad it's not closer to ya, cheap enough for a parts car. What is wrong with these people??, that car is too rare to screw around with. :slap:
Would be kinda cool to turbo that six, they are good motors. :ies:
Sadly, you're right. I hope no one else tries to find anything worse than that. I'm getting depressed as it is. :disappoin
Hey, they even changed the wheels over to hupcap-trash spec on that XR7. What's next? A '95 T-bird SC 5-speed converted to a 2.3 3-speed auto? Maybe a 20th anny with a 255 2-bbl?
That thing is in sad shape. I think I'm more annoyed by that than what engine is in it.
:screwy: :shakehead :dunno: :yuck:  :disappoin :wtf: :barf:
i have to admit this is pretty bad but look at the bright side,, there is one out there for sale if anyone feels froggy. finding these cars are getting harder and harder so to imagine he still has the original motor,, thats a great find.
id worry about the hack job on misc wiring.
as for the smog pump into the air box with duct tape,, i think it is being used to recycle the exhaust back thru the combustion cycle so emissions wont be so bad. Its the same concept but just a different approach. instead of routing the smog back to the intake, its going to the air cleaner.
Beating smog tests, but going through about six air filters a week. :screwy: Genius.
Maybe they thought 2 more cylinders = more power?
I can't accept that someone who can pull of a motor and tranny swap would be that stupid.
Must have been all the rage at one time, because my rear end came from a TC with an I6.
Wow, other two to my list of crazy swaps !.....
These cars are too cheap for me. Here, a cougar for parts cost at least 12000 pesos = 1000 Usd. If i live in the states, ill had one cougar for each day for the week....jejeje....
