Title: Chevy Camaro wipers
Post by: greg wys on December 04, 2005, 02:58:06 PM
Hey agian guys,  got a question for any camaro owners ( I know, I know its the wifes). The wipers dont rest completly on the glass and seem to lift slightly when in motion. Everything is tight as far as I can tell. Wipers are old, but even with new wipers they behaved the same, just not as bad.  Thanks for any advice you can give.

You can get little fins that go on the wiper to apply extra pressure when you are moving.  That may help, but the actual problem could be caused by bent wiper arms or soemthing (just taking a stab since I don't own a Camaro)

Thanks guys, in GM's infinate wisdom, they put a sporty plastic cover over the arms. Once the wifey goes to work tomarrow i think a little surgery is in order. The arms probably are bent, I dont know a woman who will se the #@&%^*$^%$%* windshield after a snowfall.

Some cars have an extra hook under the arm for the spring.  Once the spring loses tension move it to the next hook.
