Title: Parting out 87 5.0 cougarbird
Post by: borf42 on December 03, 2005, 02:10:15 PM
1/2 thunderbird 1/2 cougar.

Here is a list off the top of my head:

These are the parts not on the car:

I have 5.0HO parts, whatever you want. I will have heads, 93 cobra cam, wiring harness, 89 Lincoln HO computer, injectors, stock HO headers, HO intake

2 Brand new sets of 87-88 Thunderbird rear quarter windows. One with the chrome and one without. When I say BRAND NEW I mean it - Still has the Carlite stickers on them.

1 used set of rear quater windows with the chrom trim in very good shape

2 VERY nice grey door panels (non-TC style)

1 set of grey rear inside quarter trim for 87-88 thunderbird (in ok shape, kinda dirty)

1 set of grey inside rear quarter trim for 87-88 Cougar (in very nice shape)

1 set of the molding that goes on the inside on either side of the windshield, grey and in very good shape

1 94-95 mustang gt rear diff, no leaks, but no brakes (has metal lines) 3.08 with trac-loc

1 set of 89 Lincoln LSC rims, not bent but could use paint

many interior parts for a Lincoln Mark VII in Dark red (door panels, carpet, interior panels)

Rear bumper cover off 88 cougar, nice. White. I think it is the same as a t-bird....

set of 88 Mustang GT front spindles with good rotors (need to be turned probably, but they spin very freely on the hub)

A decent grey carpet (has a stain in the back foot well, a small floormat would cover it right up)

Now the car:

87 'bird with 5.0 SO and aod. AOD has B&M shift kit. Seems to function properly. Car drives ok, if you want to buy the whole thing, that's fine. I was going to take parts for my new toy (89 Mustang GT convertible) but if I sell the whole car, I will leave on the parts I was going to take (4-point k-member brace, urethane sway bar bushings, and a/c elimination kit)

It has:
B&M ratcheting floor shifter.

custom made urethane front strut mounts (had to peice it together from various sources...)

Has a spoiler, the end was broke but I repaired it using epoxy, just sand and paint

I two sets of tail lights (t-bird) One is on the car and had a crack in the lense, and I was going to combune the parts of the two sets to make one very good set of lights

The cougar nose on the car is in good shape, except for a small part of the grille has a chip in it

Here is a pic. Just let me know if there is anything you want a picture of. Make an offer, I prefer not to ship anything, but if it has to be shipped, buyer pays actual shipping. What doesn't get sold just goes to the s heap.

Here is the original ad whan I was trying to sell the whole car:

SO it snowed here, so all pics of stuff on the car are on hold until it melts a bit. Car is in the way back yard, so it isn't too easy to get to.

Thanks,

Nate

Nobody? The headlights are in very white and don't have any condensation. The whole front clip is actually very nice. After that the body gets.... holy. :D Plus I have the interior out of the cougar that gave it's front clip. It is mint, door panels and all. Plus a dash as well. Let me know if you want pics of anything by tomorrow morning, as I am going out to the garage after work.

Thanks,

Nate

I'm interested in the cobra cam. What are the specs for it? It would be good for HO upgrade for my cougar xr7.
