I have never had any problems either, I just think they take out to much for a transaction. If they took out 1% they would still make a killing.
 Thanks,
  Chris

No doubt there are problems occasionally, but the folkes on that site probably don't represent .001% of all the accounts out there... Just used mine a few days ago and am going to open a bank account to receive payments from ebay sales...

A freind who sells a lot on ebay said, the bids he receives are more than double on most items since he started taking Pay Pal. The average increase in sale amount, has more than offset the cost of using PP.

Got screwed out of almost $100 by PayPal's policies and an asshole buyer using someone else's stolen account. Not too thrilled with them in general. If I were still selling on Ebay, I would not hesitate to switch to BidPay and tell PayPal to go screw itself.

i understand...i just get nervous when my money could be at risk....i havnt realy had any trouble. i did sell an rc hellicopter and they charged me the 3% fee because the other guy used a credit card. that was more annoying than anything.

ony ever had one problem with paypal and they fixed it within a few days. a PITA? yeah but hardly a reason to close my account. used them many times, a couple large transactions (over $200) and have always been satisfied with the service. The credit card fees being taken from me when someone pays me is a crock though but I think its worth it for the convenience.

And thats exactly why i have mine connected with my debit card, not to mention it is quite easy to use and is much less painful than (cringe) money orders.

I'm gonna open up an bank account with a debit card for the Pay Pal only, don't want it tied to my regular checking acct... When someone pays me, BAM its gets transfered out....

I've used Paypal for a number of years with no problems. As was previously mentioned, people tend to bid higher when they can pay for their purchases with a credit card. I did hear of more problems with Paypal before Ebay bought it.

I've had a Paypal account for five years now.  I've never had a problem with it whether I was buying or selling something.
