My 88 cougar has locked me out they keyless entry won't even light up when i try it. Needless to say my keys are in the ignition. What can I do to get in? Walmart won't let me stay there for much longer.
88 get a saw blade, pop the lock. Prolly a loose battery terminal.

Of course it won't help you get in the car if the keys are locked in though..... These cars are easy enough to slim jim though.
Yup there is a metal rod that runs up to the lock plunger if you can hook that and pull up it will unlock the door. Other than that call a locksmith.
After you get it open,get another key.
Also check your car insurance. You may have lockout protection that they will come out and get in for you.
If all else fails call a state trooper or county cop. They'll be glad to break in for you. Well I don't know about your state but they have done it in MD.
Used to be cool when they did that, they outlawed it here a few years back
Same here, but don't know why. I have mastered the coat hanger, I've never owned car I could not get into without a coat hanger. All becasue the locksmiths around here charger between $50 and $60 depending on the vehicle and where you are at.

hears what i did, get a spair key and keep it in your wallet lol... its happened to me more than a few times. to get in, what everyone else said... slim jim its a sinch to get in.
get a spare key and wire it up some where under the car then youll always have one on the car works wonders in the winter here when you lock your keys in a running car not nameing any name but it was me. mines in my fake tire SHHHH dont tell any one
i'll remember that ;). it easy to pop the lock, if you take your time you can do it without sratching it all up, and prolly without any dents.

like you need to post the question of how to get into an 80's ford. a monkey with MS could slim jim our cars or use a coat hanger to pull a lock..
edit: and i always kept a coat hanger up under the back bumper...
