Hmmm... Not wearing a seatbelt and speeding on what looks to be a relatively small possibly crowded street.
Think about that... It's a shame but it's bound to happen when you're wreckless.

Even I've had a couple close wakeup calls, so I'm not saying by any means that I'm perfect.

Looks like it was a nice car. I wonder if it was somebody from one of the boards?

Not that it matters at this point, but did anybody notice the skidmarks, meaning, that car was full sideways for a long way.  You can follow each mark right to the exact tire that made it.  How fast would he have had to be going to go into a sideways slide like that, without spinning out?  Man, that had to be a horrendous crash (and I'm not making reference to Roscoe P. Coltrane's famous quote)!  I'd say the passenger seat is where the driver's seat is supposed to be.  My wife saw the picture and said, "but it hit on the passenger side, how did it kill him?".  I told her, looking at the damage, that probably didn't matter.

man i hate too see this stuff. its a shame though. your begging for it every time you stuff the go pedal, im no different. im sure the 37 year old knew that. fortunately no body else / innocent was involved or hurt. could have been kids wating for a bus or something. bless him and his family.

looks like it was a nice one as well. i was supprised it was a tcoupe rather than a dumper like you usually see. look how streight those skidmarks are...he was scootin.

I don't mean any disrespect to him or his family. It is a tragic loss and I feel for his family. I can't imagine what they're going through. Surely they love him but at the same time I'm sure they are hating him for his actions. Same thing happened in my family when my dads cousin comitted suicide.

I just meant to use this as a lesson for everyone. Think twice or three times over before your adrenaline takes over and you lose your car or worse, your life.

My apologies if I came off too insensitive.

That was my first thought, when I saw the clean paint and Cobra R's.

Turbo 88 is in Vancouver, so I doubt that's him. The guy that was killed's name is Brian Freeman

naw it wasn't me, as far as i can see im still here ;) ... hate to see a guy lose his life like that, wonder what caused the car to lose control like that, like some of you mentioned earlier he must have been flying, if he was wearing his seatbelt it probably would have saved the guys life...

I doubt a seat belt would've helped - that car was shortened by a few feet on the passener's side, so I'm sure it was narrowed pretty good too. As somebody mentioned, the passenger seat was likely where the driver's seat was supposed to be...

if he would have had a seat belt on he may have lived, or been injured but by the looks of things may have survived, the passenger seat was destoyed..however the driver seat would have not moved, the reason why he died was simple, he was basically thrown agianst the poll..why? because his seat belt was not on, and hey if he was wearing it would have helped im sure and possibly saved his life...the passenger seat would be crushed not moved, it is bolted to the floor and, yeah the seat may have moved a bit but theres a concul in the way, poor guy didn't stand a chance whithout his belt..

best wishes to his family.
