converting the stock 85mph speedo into a 140 unit. change out one of the capacitors and the face instead of paying upwards of 100$ for a cluster, or single speedo

Upwards of $100??? I've seen 'em go for upwards of $500!

I've got an 85 MPH cluster laying around waiting for the conversion as well, but it's low priority since my Canadian cluster shows up to 120MPH anyway...

They look like the right ones - voltage isn't really an issue, as long as you get 16V or better. The 0.033uF (333k) is the important part...

This one just sold for $64... But then the seller didn't mention anything about 140mph... He should have gotten 4-5 times that price...
