Sorry, couldn't resist:giggle:
I had a lizard once. Don't remember what kind but he died within like 2 weeks. He was really cool while he was living though.
My friend had a bearded dragon named Odie. You wouldn't think a lizard could possess a personality but he certainly did.
oh yeah these little guys do have one. awsome ones i belive. better than cats and dogs.
cool lizard man just look at that thing just awesome
Ya, they all have differnt personality. Mine would have to be under the big bad ass catagory. Although hes small he is mean, bites, puffs up all the time, and hits me with that long tail. It hurts.
He is between 10-12in long.
how old is your boy?
I want to say about 2 years now. Heres a pic of what he looked like when we got him. He was 7-8 months old in the pic.
wow. well there is another boards i belong too just for these guys. its beardeddragons.org alot of useful info. and help if you ever need it. alot of great people on that sire and also thats where i met my girl at. but looks like he will be a big boy. my little one is bout 5 weeks old and is already 6 1-2 inches long.
I would love for him to get big enough that I could put a leash on him and walk him around the neighborhood.
oh soon you will be able too. but for being 2 yrs old he seems a bit small. i know tiny my other one the ex still has he is a year old and already 19 inches.
My Snake shed the other day and the pet store won't have mice till Monday so I had to leave the skin in the tank because he's real hungry......And I just set up the fish tank......have to put a background on it.
nice. what kind of fish you looking at?
It's a marine tank. I put argonite in a a substrate and there are 4 Damselfish in it right now (2 dominos and 2 yellow tails). I was thinking a Huma Huma Trigger and a Volitans Lionfish would look nice in the tank. Maybe a real colorful boxfish or 2.
I would love one of these(Clown Triggerfish) but, I aint spendin $200 on a fish (at least that's what my wife told me!)
nice fish. i normally stayed with the black mollys or standard gold fish.

I always wanted one of these guys.
THOSE are cooler in large groups:evilgrin:
Get about 6 of them that are about 3 or 4 inches in length and then throw in 30 goldfish and watch the festival of meat and scales!:D
Thought I'd drag this up and show how the fishies are doin......
That's neat... how big would a thing like that get?
The trigger? He's about 2.5" now from mouth to the start of the fin. He's gonna be too big for this tank in about 4 or 5 months. My 75 gallon tank will be up and running by then. That'll be plenty of room for him. They can get to be about 8 inches for this particular species.
Not too long ago someone here in Kansas I believe got arrested for seeding pirahnas into a pond.:shakehead
See, having them in a tank that you control I think is OK but, putting them in the wild in an ecosystem that is going to be devastated by them is stupid. It's things like this that make it hard for people who would take care of them and not put them in the wild. I'm sure some lawmaker got a hold of that info and will try (or has already tried) to ban Piranhas in that county or state even.
Well since my other dragon died new years day I told the wife I would like another. Well I just got home from work and found this in the cage.
wow sorry to hear that. you know what he died of? also i would change the substrate he is on to ether paper towel alot easier to clean or non adhesive shelf liner and its like 5 bucks at walmart.
Not sure what he died from. My wife fed him some greens and he was fine. He was doing his normal running around and climbing on his hamock and jumping.
She went to the store and bought some crickets, around 2 dozen small, thats when he started acting funny. He would just stand there and stare off into space. Then teh next morning I went to his cage and found him on his hamock swelled up and dead.
I don't know who took it worse my wife or the kids.
wow that sux. but if at all possibule do get the new baby off that bark. its not good for em at all. use paper towel for now or even tile cut to fit the tank.
Bark is not recommended because it is a good breeding ground for mites. I would stay away from those fake grass mats too.
As far as my fish, the tank is doing well, but the Triggerfish has eaten 3 of his tank mates. 1 I was worried about. The other 2 totally blew my mind cause they were bigger than him. One cost $40!
