I may be wrong, but that car looks carbed ( distributor with vacuum advance, lack of MAP on right hand side). I like it, nice exhausts, and congratulations for doing a good job. How old are you now ?

yeah it is carbed its got an edelbrock sitting on top yeah i did it my self i am 18 right now well i will be on the 22nd of this month and i actully do have plans for the car i  plan to drop a 5.0 efi in to it with an overdrive tranny i a just bought an sn95 rear end for it to get five lugs and disc brakes and i am piceing together a 5 lug setup for the front i want to lower it a bit and slap some mustang bullit wheels on it, and the pics dont show it cause i did this after i took them but the body line on the hood i cut it and raised it about three inches so i got a cowl hood that flows with the body line i think it made all the diff in the world oh and i plan to paint it charcole to match the wheels and i need to clean my interior up but i am slowly getting there can any one think of any prolems i will have doing these things let me know thanks every one

Lots of mustangs and birds both convert to 5 lug, should be an easy conversion,  The 5.0 EFI might be tricky and costly, might want to stay with a carbed setup, but its not impossible.  You can easily get an AoD Tranny for it, curious what tranny do you have installed now?  Nice car BTW, has lots of potential.

the inside aint much just gauges and shifter but  i will get some pics up i have a c4 in it right now do you really think it would be possible to put on aod on my carbed setup woul it require lots of tuning and do you think it could handle the abuse

an AOD is practically a bolt-in minus all the little things. it'll handle some abuse if you build it right. :)

Mines an AoD taking about 420 to the Fly so yeah It will handle it.  Me personally i would stick witht he C4, but then again im ot looking as saving anything on gas bills and would like a 3 speed.  You are going to have to lengthen you drive shat though i think the AoD is "shorter" than the C4 not positive though just what tranny shops have told me..

they should be the same length. As far as I know the should bolt right in.Also, converting over to EFI sounds like fun. If you do it you know where to turn for help :)

C4 is slightly shorter...I believe you can reuse your AOD driveshaft. You will also need to move your trans crossmember forward.

depends, are you using the driveshaft that originally came with the car, if so, no probs, that is made for an AOD already, if not, should still be okay but check how much of the input shaft is out side of the trans, that should give you an idea of how much room you have to play with.
