Ok guys,Having two t-birds just plain sucks. one that never see's much of the road and has chronic issues since the swap.And my pokey daily driver that has been super reliable other then litte things like it eats tps sensors... well i have been thinking for the last week well what if i took both and made a "nice" driver..


heres what i was thinking. pull all the 5 lug swap and wheels. brakes, rearend , misc trim pieces,and here and theres off the turbo coupe. leaving the 429 and c-6 but swapping all the stuff off the 5.0 car back into it and selling it.



and taking the 5.0 car

swapping it over to 4 wheel disc , my tubular front suspension, my weld wheels, dropping it 2-3 inches, putting a small n2o kit on it, a set of ported e7's and a couple of twin turbo's. and keeping it a nicer driver that is fun to drive and may actually be nice?



Is there any intrest here for anyone wanting the turbo coupe?
id like to get 3,500-3,800 out of it with the motor out and ready to go together or 4,000 reassembled and running.

how about you fix the other car? what exactly is wrong with it that you want to start selling stuff and back tracking all your hard work?

I am thinking about it... I bought another crank had it turned just need to be put in. other then that nothing.


backtracking is what i do best. I am tired of everyone local having something to say out of the way...and i can never really enjoy driving the other one cause i cant tag it due to emmisions testing

I vote for keep em both, and use The TC as a race car

Tennesee has emissions testing???? Since when???

find a freind or family member where there arent any emmisions and put there address, just tell them first;). Thats what I did with my grandma's cabin and no more emmisions.

i'm basically doing the opposite of you. i'm using the tc as a dd and darkthunder will be a weekend bruiser. :) i can't believe TN has emissions testing. i hope that don't rub that off on AL.

How much did the cabin put out before the address change?
