Pfft...I'll build my own manifold ;)
That's for the turbo diesel BMW engine in some of the Marks.. not for the Ford I6s that Chuck (200) and I (300) are interested in.
what kind of boost can u make out of that set up?
Just about 45-46psi :wtf:
Dear lord, is that :bs:, or is it becuase it's a deisel engine? Which, other than they use glow plugs and are easier to turbocharge as a result, I know nothing about.
consider this, that 6 cylinder is about as long as a 302 or longer. and that turbo is like half the length of that manifold. im no turbo expert, but that looks like one god dam big turbo.
hear is a link to turbo diesel mark 7's http://images.google.com/imgres?imgurl=http://www.lscclub.org/diesel/unknown600005/images/20040526e.jpg&imgrefurl=http://www.lscclub.org/diesel/default.htm&h=480&w=640&sz=107&tbnid=7oPxqxccwjsJ:&tbnh=101&tbnw=135&hl=en&start=26&prev=/images%3Fq%3Ddiesel%2Bmark%2Bvii%26start%3D20%26svnum%3D10%26hl%3Den%26lr%3D%26safe%3Doff%26sa%3DN (http://"http://images.google.com/imgres?imgurl=http://www.lscclub.org/diesel/unknown600005/images/20040526e.jpg&imgrefurl=http://www.lscclub.org/diesel/default.htm&h=480&w=640&sz=107&tbnid=7oPxqxccwjsJ:&tbnh=101&tbnw=135&hl=en&start=26&prev=/images%3Fq%3Ddiesel%2Bmark%2Bvii%26start%3D20%26svnum%3D10%26hl%3Den%26lr%3D%26safe%3Doff%26sa%3DN")
Yea it was bs, didn't, and still do not know what turbo88 is asking.
that thing probley moves enought air to aircondition my house, or heat it lol. it looks almost the size off the turbos on the new super duties. compaired to my girlfriends IHI, its a beast.:hick:
It's not that big of a turbo....
Wow, those Marks are freaking crazy. I mean I guess if Versace were going to sponsor a car, why not a Lincoln, there as luxurious as any other domestic ride. If not nicer.
