I took this pic a while ago. I just happened to look at it tonite and realized that that connector seems to be not connected. Does anyone know what it is for?

looks like its for reverse lights, their are only 2 connectors i think, one is reverse, and the other is vss. if its 2 wires, its reverse lights.
thats what I was thinking also. do yours work?
Reverse lights are tied into the nuetral safety switch arent they? i have a similar plug disconnected on ine not sure what its for.
that might explain why they don't work. guess i'll go hook that thing up. lol.
great... i look under there and there's no where to plug that thing in. :dunno:
ok look at where you'r selecter valve is directly above that should be a harness with a female plug for that to plug into if not.. there should be a plug sticking strait up if you see or feel that then you'r missing the haress i have one and can post pix of the plug later if you need em
Selector valve? A pic would help tons if you don't mind sir. :)
Bear, he has a stick, I beleive you will have to feal up on top of the transmission for your hidden connector.
Edit, Hmm looking at the full size pic it looks like that has never been hooked up.
o yea didnt think about the 5 spd but ill post a pic of what you'r looking for later today
