i have a slight tranny leak so i went to go change the gasket and filter. first couldn't get the pan off. and then i found out like 3 or 4 bolts won't tighten. what should i do? the threads look fine but i can't tell about the holes in the block of the tranny. should i just change all the bolts? i have a 84 cougar with the 5.0 and aod tranny. any advice would be great thanx.
tap them and place new bolts in it.
