Title: Cobra brake rotor rotation - which way?
Post by: slicksport88 on October 29, 2005, 02:33:53 AM
I just realized today after picking up my rotors from the machine shop that they have directional vanes in the middle. Now I never payed attention to this before and Im wondering if maybe it's the reason they warped so early on me. Which way are they supposed to rotate?  :dunno: Should they flow air from the outside in or vice versa?

well...the earlier cobra rotors are very pr0ne to warping. do you have brembos? they are much better at resisting that.
personally id face the them foward but thats a guess...

As far as I know there the original rotors I picked up from the cobra swap. I've seen the prices on some aftermarket rotors and just did this to the salesman :flip: But yeah I was curious if I had em backwards if that sped up the rate at which they warp.
