Brought it to a friend's shop to do the heads/cam/intake/mass air swap. Decided that there was enough other stuff that needed attention to yank the motor out. The rear main had started leaking (Again!), intake manifold gasket had a real slow leak. And when the motor came out we noticed the left mount was bad. So on top of all the other goodies I have I got a new high volume oil pump and water pump as well. Pics below.

Already had new ones stored away. I just swapped em on. Bill's gonna finish with the heads tonight while I'm at work. Looks like I owe somebody a favor...... On a side note the timing chain that was put in right when I got the car was trash. When I redid the crank and rods 30K ago it was well within limits...... Don't know what happened. Oh well... new one's already in with the cam.
what kinda timing set was it?
Napa if I remember correctly. Got the Summit set this time.
