Title: Possibly the heater core
Post by: mbrooks on October 24, 2005, 02:11:26 PM
After reading the woes of the heater cores, i am now not so sure if
that is my problem

In my 1985 cougar, i am getting water, leaking onto the driver
side floor when i'm doing hard right turns at speed (i.e. when pulling some g's)

usually on the freeway onramps, etc

the water is not antifreeze, so i'm not sure if its a leak from the window/wipers or the ac/heating system

Open the hood and double check all the cracks and crevices in the cowl area. Use a water hose to double check. Look at old crusty seam sealer where the body panels come together.
