I have to reluctantly give up my 1985 Cougar XR-7. I'm located near Cleveland, OH. I'm moving and there's no room for it where I'm moving to! The car is sliver with a grey cloth interior and it has an automatic trans. I will be completely honest with everyone - the car has not run for 5 years. I parked it in the garage with every intention of restoring it and of course got nothing done on it. The car is not in the best condition at all. I'm not looking for much out of it, and it will need to be towed out of ny garage. I know it doesn't sound like much and it's not - I was just hoping someone would be interested in it so I don't have to send it off to the s yard!
Have you though about parting it out, might get more from the hard to get parts then the whole thing together, post some picks of the car, interior and exterior. If you part it i would be interested in a few thing, depending on condition.

Does it have a floor shifted AOD?If so,I'd like to buy the shift cable and console panel that goes around the shifter.
Vinnie....it's a 4-banger...shift cable won't work on an AOD....
