I had and 86 and currently an 85 t-bird, the Ground effects kit was on the 86 when i purchased a few years back. I have triied to find it before with no luck, It has a ford number on it but cross references to nothing and the dealerships were unable to help.

Looks like the old Motorsport kit, minus the ugly grille. I'm pretty sure it's the same thing Xenon offered for a while as well.

I took the Grille of my 86 as well, the 85 had 2 different style pirds on it (or at least mine did when i got it) so i took the grill of my 86 to match the ones on the side and rear of the car.

It looks like the old Kamei kit that Racer Walsh in Florida used to sell. Who knows, they may still have some collecting dust in a wherehouse...

That kit was sold through various Ford outfits.....Racer Walsh, Ford Motorsport, etc. The kit was made by a now defunct company called Spoilers Plus.

Okay guys...i hope nobody minds, but while were on the subject and given the theme of the thread i thought it would maybe okay to post this here. whyle the pros are lookin, what kit is this? ive never been much of a fan of the body kits on these cars but this one in particular is the only one that ever realy cought my eye to the point where id consider it if i ever found one. otherwise id never put a body kit on just for the sake of putting one on....its on a nato members car, found in the showroom section.

I've always wanted a NASCAR style rear spoiler like that. Those are cool! I'd definetly buy one of those if I knew where to get one.

I forgot the name of the kit, but if you look up i think Nate K's car, he has that same kit, and he has listed what kind of kit it is

if it is the same kit, the front bumper has been modified on one of them. its the front bumper cover that realy cought my eye. nates is deffinetly different...but thanks for the heads up shawn. if anyone ever comes aacross the first one i posted, id realy like to have it.....

Problem with Nates car is that its so black and shiny that you cant really see it for sure, ill look through my carlisle folder and see if i got anything of his car

Actually I dont really like any body kit on the Birds myself. Most of them are but ugly. This one isn't that bad though. My opinion is just run the front and leave the rest off. Nice car.
