Title: Painting My Grave...
Post by: MexCougar on October 11, 2005, 04:37:58 PM
Well, some of us know that my father never lends the cars to me. Well, dad and mom went to a little vacation in the F-150. Well, the explorer was at home, and well, was a good time to get a ride. Feels pretty good, but its heavy, that dont matter. When i was returning to home, i got a very big rock under the  rear left side, before the rear tire.......well, the good news is that the truck had a long sidestep and the body wasnt damaged. Bad news, the sidestep is covered with plastic and had at least five long scratches. Well, i dont have any paint of that color, and since the damaged part is at the lowest side of the truck (you cant see, relatively) i decided to paint black.

Time to repaint the entire part with the correct color or left alone with the black ?

Of course, my english is not good, here is an ilustration (not my truck but here“s the idea)....the red line shows the damaged area....
