Title: theractor pump and heater hoses
Post by: waferman on October 11, 2005, 09:08:59 AM
hi everybody, i got my 86 cougar running good again...bottom of throttle body was filled with carbon...anyway on my 3.8 is the theractor pump assembly and pulley...i'm removing it and need a new belt...don't know the size yet. i also once read on the greatest hits, inside tips etc... that the metal line for the heater hose can be removed, thus allowing more room for my hand to change the spark plugs a lot easier. the one one the passenger side. any insight on this would be great....i'm writing this thread because i can't get on the greatest hits, inside tips, near misses thread....i'll keep trying.. thanks again
