They have been moved above my CD, in the graphic EQ opening...
Its raining right now, so I ain't going out to the garage to get a picture. :flip:
I had a sneaking suspicion that's what was going on! Just thought it was funny to see the tach and speedo pretty muched pegged, and yet the engine not even breaking a sweat!
Don't you know oil and water in the engine creates friction??? Just leave 'em out... frees up 25hp.... :hick:
Yeah, I already got a ticket two years ago so I just, uh "held the needle" at 140 long enough to take the picture. :slap:
The old timer probly has that figured that out with all those trophies he's been braggin about.
Am I the only one who noticed this picture is very professional looking. Plus I don't see any fingers. :rollin:
No , no , no.....Turbocoupe50 was running without Radiator (and water), Without Oil pan (and oil) and check the gas gauge... Without Gas tank (and gas). He saved at least 200 pounds. Hell, he is professional, talk about weight reduction...

I hit 118 and wouldn't have let go of the wheel for anything. Barely saw the numbers on the digital speedo, about 6:00 in the morning, pitch black, interstate, hit a fog patch, left a brown streak in my drawers... :toilet:
Don't think I'll be seeing 119 very soon.
that last time i was that fast I was racing a supra on a deserta highway in the middle of the night in my moms 96 Mustang GT.. I was doing of 130 when the supra backed off.. was a bit scary, but ed if I was gunna let an import beat a mustang. That was quite a few years ago. I wouldn't ever go that fast in the condition my old 'bird was in.. that would be a deathwish. hehe.
Correct. I didn't think that picture would make anyone think I was actually going that fast in a Cougar, let alone take a picture while doing it.
I have driven that fast though but legally in a BMW 5-series in Germany.
Thanks man! I just take a few hundred and hope one comes out good.
Here is one I took while moving the needle a little bit:

That picture is very cool. I thought it had to be done sitting still for three reasons.
1- The subject so dark that the shutter would be open long enough that if you were moving that fast it would be blurry.
2- It would be impossible to take a picture that good at that angle while driving and not crashing at 10 mph let alone 140.
3- If a passenger was taking the pic instead of the driver, their head would be slamming into the steering wheel over every bump and they would probably fall onto the driver causing a very ugly situation.
wouldnt be bad if it were a girl taking the pic :hick:
Drats... I've let my best speed secret out... :bs:
Actually guys my engine was turning 4600 rpms and the speedo shows a true 138 mph(no fingers here).....
But..... AHEM.... It was up on jack stands in the garage when I shot that pix. :flip:
I was close, I was thinking dyno.
Tom.... I have to say your crazy... if that thing would of come off of the stands
Awww Hell, it was a nice day for a quick trip down to NC... :D
Didnt that happen in Ferris Buellers Day Off
Just don't kick the bumper! :nono: :giggle: :rollin:
I dunno, but my God, it would be impressive to watch! 0 to 140 in 0 seconds
