Title: How the rear end works
Post by: bondocougar on October 03, 2005, 08:01:10 PM
This mini movie some corny parts, but I liked this very illustrative movie about how (and why)  the rear end differential gears work.  (If you can get past the opening scenes)

Especially interesting after tearing open my gear case for the first time!

I didn't know early cars only had one rear wheel driven by the motor!

Can somebody tell me what I'm doing wrong?  I am unable to view the film.  Thanks.

Make sure you have the latest free Real Player on your PC.  Once you have that you should be able to click under the "Stream" section, pick the 64kb.rm version and it should work.

Also ist a lot of bytes, so you had better not be on a dial up connection.

I love old stuff like this!  Anybody got the Dazed and Confused DVD?  There's an anti-marijuana short film on that from the late sixties.  the narrator must b related to Ben Stein
