I need some pics of the air induction system including the hood both underside and topside. And the way the hood scoops hook up to the intercooler.
Thanks
here are a few... yes I am missing the intercooler bracket.
Many thanks
your welcome, anything else I can help with just let me know.
Just needed that im probably gonna be buying a ram air induction for my 5.o and was planning on using a Tc hood, well its kinda impossible seeing how the ram air kit im looking at is a bottom feeder.
I have been brainstorming about doing that with my car as well. I haven't gotten too far into it yet though. The problem is deffinately going to be space. In the end it prob. won't be worth the trouble horse power wise, but it would be cool to make use of the scoops.
cervinis selld the air box adapter for the mach 1 hood im sure with some work it could work
A friend of mine in FL with a 5.0 Bird built a box out of aluminum and bolted it in-between the TB and EGR on 1 side (how it was held up), and stuck a K&N right on the TB (speed density car), then put a foam lip on it. It works great and actually adds alot of butt-power to the car
It may even be easier to fab a cowl induction (which would have the air moving in that direction anyway) than route the scoops back toward the front again.
