The red bird...

It looks good.
Everytime I see that bird it makes me miss mine just that much more. I just need to get the trans back in it and put the new front end on it.
i just realize that my photography was horrible this time around
i miss driving that one around, untill i get in it and drive it, the car got so many looks, and so much attention, but with all the shocks and struts blown out (yes, all of them), needing bushings, balljoints and tie rod ends, having a clunking and whining rear, and having a 180K mile 3.8L....the looks dont make up for it
Looks good. Makes me want to get turbines for my Bird. How do you keep the Turbines so clean though?
I was wondering how that one was doing. The pics are still pretty good, what time did you take them? mid-morning?
i took them about 10 minutes before i posted, around noon time or so, it looked like it was going to rain, and it was overcast, then it all of a sudden got sunny
keeping turbines clean isnt hard when you take a good bit of time to get them clean once, i spend hours cleaning em when i got them, and since then, theyve stayed pretty clean with the normal spray with a nasty cleaner, and wipe with a rag, then hose em off
Very nice.I've got a set of 20th anniversary Cougar turbines on my car now ('88 'Bird). They have a little curb rash,so,I scored a set from E-Bay in "like new" condition for $113 which included caps, locking lugs, and shipping.I'll save them for when the car get re-re-re-painted.I'm still collecting parts for the grand re-build next year.I'm going to go ahead and install a TC nose on her.Tomorrow,it's tranny cooler I got 2 at the salvage yard from cop cars), and 3G alternator swap.Next, electric fan and my Mustang GT steering pump bracket.....goodbye AC compressor.
Pictures are fine Shawn. There are no trash cans.
