Title: rear end ?
Post by: turboed302 on September 25, 2005, 10:07:38 AM
i have a bird but want to use deep lip 18x10.5 wheels. are the stang rears shorter than the birds. or do i have to have a bird rear. i know the back spacing will be tough in a bird with a bird rear so i figured a stang rear will overcome that problem.

what year do you have?

if you remove the quad shocks (if your car has them), they will fit

Well backing spacing will need to be looked at,
Most rim shops can do this for u and tell you how big a rim and tire combo u can fit in your car.

If they just look it up in a book and just say this is good find another shop.
A good place will have the right stuff to check depth and backspace b4 ordering any wheels.
