Talk about a rare car, I'd get it if I had 13,000 to spend on an old car. . .

Wow,very nice indeed.
:iagree: very nice mercvertible
talk about an expensive car
It may or may not be "worth it".. but for a McLaren with that kinda mileage, I think I'd buy it if I had the money. I have a weak spot for Capris, having owned two in the past.
You know what one of my dream cars is?
A "Black Magic" Capri.
i've had a capri.. i do miss that car.
I could see myself tracking one down someday.. problem is, I'm starting to want at least one copy of several different Fox bodies, plus a truck. Going to need to buy and clear the lot next door just for parking. :p
I'd like to get myself down to one T-bird (the '86, once I buy it back from my aunt) and one Mark.. then pick up an '85-86 Cougar, a non-bubble-hatch Capri, a 4-door Fairmont or Zephyr, and maybe even an LTD LX. (but that would be redundant with the 4-door) Fortunately, being that I'm only working part time to start out, I won't have the money to do that sort of thing for some time. :D
yah. i had an 80 capri RS with the recaros and a c4, but it was a 200 inline 6, which was a dog but i loved it anyway. nice looking car though my wife hates em.
My '81 Capri (black and gray w/ t-tops.. forgot the interior color) was what started me on my weird fascination with inline 6s.
My fiance dislikes Fox Mustangs, saying they don't really look like her idea of a Mustang.. but doesn't seem to have any similar problem with Capris.. so I could probably get away with owning one. :p
yah. i have a love for those I6's. I am a memeber of fordsix.com with a couple of others here.
